I
SEMINARS:
- A
half day "start up" seminar that commences your Q-BASE
program is given on your premises to introduce your senior
staff to Q-BASE implementation.
- At
the sessions, you will be given detailed instruction on
the contents of each of the Q-BASE
Code's seven clauses and
how these can establish a sound, common sense quality
management system within your operations.
- You
will be shown how these seven clauses can be expressed
in a Quality Manual that will truly reflect what your
company currently does and what else you may need to do
to meet the conditions laid down for the Q-BASE Code.
- The
seminar also describes what you must do to prepare a Quality
Policy Manual which defines your company’s profile
and its commitment to quality. This document becomes the
introduction (Part 1) to your detailed company Quality
Manual (Part 2) that outlines what you do in your operations
to comply to the Q-BASE Code.
- The
final seminar segment outlines a work schedule for the
preparation of your company’s Quality Manual and
a program that will show you how to get started.
II
TRAINING MANUAL:
- The
first part of your training manual contains all that a
smaller company needs to know about the processes involved
in a Quality Management System. It describes and explains
the "what’s", "why’s", and "how’s" of
getting a company launched into a quality management program.
- The
first 5 modules of the training manual describe each of
the seven clauses contained in the Q-BASE
Code, why they are necessary, what functions
they serve, what they mean and how they can be expressed
in the context of a company Quality Manual. Each of the
clauses are replete with examples that show you "how to
do it" and what it could look like in differing types
of companies and industries.
- The
final part of the training manual, (module 6), shows how
to develop and prepare a Quality Policy to preface your
detailed Quality Manual. In it, you describe your company’s
commitment to quality, your company profile, the scope
of your quality management system and the direct benefit
this implies to your customers.
- The
training materials are further supplemented with copies
of completed clauses in a "generic" form that represent
what other small companies have prepared to meet their
needs for compliance to the Q-BASE Code.
- All
these training materials are written in an easy to understand
and simple language. They are designed to be basic but
comprehensive. Your finished Quality Manual will consist,
typically, of between 25 and 40 pages depending on how
detailed you may be required to be for your particular
style of organization.
- You
can also get the entire training manual on a computer
disk should you need to have it in that format.
